UnderTheSkin is back...with a vengance and with new hosts!

After a nearly three month hiatus, DoctorNick and CerebroJD (otherwise known as Nick Quaranto and Justin Dowell) have stepped up to the plate and are the new hosts of the UnderTheSkin podcast. The infamous Paul Boyer (Mormegil) joins us to pass the torch and rant about skins as well.

In this episode we discuss the upcoming GUI Championships and what the third contest might have in store for the skinning community. New wizops and skin libraries are revealed, along with the Apogee pack made by Paul himself. We also look at in depth at quite a few skins from the past week or so.

So have a listen to the new guys! It's a bit rough around the edges, but I think you'll find it enjoyable If you'd like to call in with questions send an email to UnderTheSkin@gmail.com and we'll figure things out. And just to warn you, we made up for the lost time with the length of this show Enjoy!

I have to admit I initially started to get a bit bored with this episode. It felt a little like listening in on people having a private conversation at times, more fleshing out for people who aren't familiar with all the popular authors, techniques and history of skinning would have helped a lot there. Hope that's a constructive critisism. Having said that it really picked up around half way through-ish. I absolutely enjoyed visiting the skins under review. Seeing what the hosts were describing, got a real kick out of that. As has been mentioned already, it had that diggnation feel and I'd love to hear a big chunk of that each episode.

A little suggestion. After hearing about the new sound scheme proggy thats coming. It would be cool if the Under the Skin podcast could feature some sounds each episode along with the regular graphic skins.

So overall I think the show has taken a real leap forward. The hosts handled themselves pretty well for a first run, really getting into a groove later on in the show. I'm subbed
